Hearts On the Wall, our namesake event, started in Jordan’s best friend’s backyard in West Virginia, where a bunch of undergrad theater kids gathered to practice audition material.

The event has had many lives since its NYC launch in 2016:
originally curated at rehearsal spaces in midtown,
had a monthly residency at Dixon Place 2017-2020, and
was revived as an open mic pop up event in 2025 at Piragua Art Space and St. Lydia’s.
